In Japan ASUS Nexus7 goes beyond iPad mini.

Nikkei reports on Jan. 16 that ASUS Nexus 7 occupied 44.4% of Japan's tablet market in December, 2012, according to research by BCN.  This is the first record that iPad and iPad mini, 40.1% share, were overwhelmed by another brand in Japan's market.

This happened due to price advantage of Nexus 7 and supply shortage of iPad mini.

In December last year PC shared 55.8% and tablets 32% in overall PC and tablets market.

It is expected that tablets share will go over PC in several years from now.
