Series 2 Digest of DYMCO Japanese BLOG No.1 Dymco attended Toyota Private Fair


DYMCO attended “Toyota Private Fair - Exhibition of new technology and business talk” at Suppliers Center, TOYOTA by support of Kanagawa Prefecture in February, 2009.
DYMCO exhibited 40 microns thickness, seamless, made of stainless steel “Ultra thin-wall metal roll (sleeve)”.

We received many questions from customer: "Why this roll is so soft and not to cause the work hardening under production process?" & "What is the tip of this round shape not oval shape?", etc.

Many customers were amazed at production process of DYMCO stainless steel seamless rolls (sleeves) and its technology!

Series 1- 6 Steel belt and various manufacturing methods of solar battery

Series 1-5 Steel belt and roll to roll flexible type solar sheets


Apart from silicon crystalline modules, there are flexible solar sheets that can be attached to bending surface of buildings. These sheets are produced by roll to roll continuous flow.

Please consider metal belt or metal roller as one of optional parts in roll to roll process, if you think nipping between rollers is very important.
As you know we deal with very thin metal belts.
We make use of this thin metal belt and make it a nipping roll.
Surface of this nipping roll is thin metal and inside is air. So we call it ‘air roll.’
This structure results in nipping when this roll touches with another hard roll.
Air roll offer;
- Wall touch
- smooth surface
- heat resistance
- less contamination than rubber rolls
- electrically conductive
-quick cooling or heating by wall touch
- heat resistanceless contamination than rubber rolls
