DYMCO is tackling Japan's challenges, environmental issues and an aging society

Big typhoons have damaged many areas in our country this year.

Some say this is caused by global warming,

and that these big typhoons will come from now on, too.

At the same Japan's super aging society is also an important issue.

Together with young labor shortage, need of automation and  labor saving is increasing.

 

DYMCO face these issues.

We develop and sell devices or parts to support solutions, like

stringer belts to connect solar cells to form solar panels and

metal open bands driving scalar robots.

 

Metal bet suction conveyors and Double steel belts heat and press unit,

these also help automation and labor saving in handling thin materials.

We decided to exhibit at Tokyo Show this year,
December 4 to 6 at Makuhari Messe, Japan.
This is our 9th participation in this exhibitioin.
We are prerparing for belts, conveyors, and sleeves to be displayed there, including

Vacuum / Suction conveyor
Nickel Tiling Mold
Replica mold, and others

1.  Precise cutting of the 2-dimension stamper

2.  Welding cut pieces.
It looks like tiles are got together.

3.  All the cut pieces are welded to form a cylinder mold

Shanghai SNEC 2019 has opened on June 4. According to current statistics, about 1,600 companies are exhibiting at this show. It is one of the largest solar power related events in China. Our Chinese company is exhibiting. We are looking forward to your visit to the DYMCO (Shanghai) booth.

Robot Arm Driving Belt in Vacuum

We are getting more and more inquiries on vacuum environment.
In this field DYMCO is capable to suggest solutions to driving belts, which control motion of pick-and-place robot arms.

We find encouraging advantages of stainless steel open bands for finer manufacturing like semiconductor device.

(1) Metal open bands are very thin.  Compact and very light units are made.

(2) Metal bands are rigid and show little elongation.
     Speed for drive and halt can be increased.  Speedy motions are realized.

(3) Removal of backlash.  Band length ends can be fixed on a pulley.

(4) Vibrations are limited when arms rotate or halt.  Driving noises are also low.  
     Metal open bands work without a drop of oil.

(5)  Stainless steel bands are tough against heat, corrosion and abrasion.
      Also limited dusts and out gas are good reasons of choice 
      in vacuum, under heat, and in clean rooms.

Metal Belt DYMCO at Exhibitions

We have joined exhibitions many times including High-Functional Film Show and Converting Technology show.  We work on booth design and enjoy it.

Until last year the base color was whit or blue like DYMCO logo.
In February this year at Int'l Secondary Battery Show at Tokyo Big Sight,
we adopted orange for the base color as shown in a picture below.
Walls were full of product images and we used simple words that explained those products.
DYMCO looked different there, bright and active.

We continue to challenge booth design so that more and more people come to us.

Now coming is

It is becoming a bit warm in Yokohama.
But temperature goes up and down.  Let's take care of ourselves when seasons change. 

We are in full production and they are made to order.
We get an inquiry.   Sales person talks with a customer and decided the final specifications.  When all is agreed, we start production.

If the specifications are all set at time of inquiry, we may start production soon.
