June 1, 2017 Challenge to 10-micron thick Seamless Metal Belt

Our metal sleeves stand out in thin wall.
Since the rigidity is proportional to the cube of the thickness, it is possible to follow the smaller R (pulley) by reducing the thickness of the belt, Therefore thin-walled steel belt is in good balance with supple and high-tensile properties.

Normally our belt thickness is  0.05 to 0.6 mm or 0.002 to 0.024 inches.
This time we challenged the limit of thickness 10 micron.

10 micron-thick belt is a very delicate product and handling is very difficult. We are currently finding out applications.  The place I would like to recommend is a belt in a small space such as a micromachine, a knife edge tiny R belt, a cylindrical thin film shell, an electromagnetic wave shielding film, a special molding die and so on.
