The mechanism of this product is a thin
metal sleeve (electrically casted nickel) which revolves around inner cylinder floating
on thin air layer as illustrated here.
As you can imagine easily, the mechanical
loss of rotation is minimal.
Even a light weight of small coin (one
gram) is enough to initiate the rotation.
