Welcome to Functional Coating Fair 2017

We will exhibit this coating fair in December.
We joined last year and had good communication with customers in the western part o Japan.

Exhibitors are about 150 companies with coating and surface treatment technology. 
Dymco will display our suction conveyor as a tool to hold thin material for coating and other process.

It is a great opportunity for Japanese customers in the Kansai region, where it is difficult to visit the exhibition around Tokyo, to see Dymco's products and technologies directly.

Eco-friendly Stainless Steel Belt, and Its Applications Oct. 27, 2017

Here in Japan, it had been rainy through the Summer, and then turned into the chilling Autumn. I feel like I missed any sense or signs of changing seasons. I suspect it is a consequence of global warming.

Wide Applications of the Vacuum Conveyor Oct. 20, 2017

We are working on the sales of the stainless steel belt vacuum conveyor.

The demand for the conveyer has been expanding to wider range of applications.
And the number of inquiries has been increasing.

Especially  great advantage is found in the inkjet digital printer.
Effective on-demand printing is realized with lower cost for small size to B1 paper.

A stainless steel belt in this conveyor has tiny holes on its surface. 
In the vacuum area, the transported object is held flat on the belt by vacuum through these tiny holes. The running speed of the conveyor can go up to 150m/min, keeping flatness of the object.
The exact speed depends on the transported object and other conditions, 

This vacuum conveyor also transports other sheet-type materials like
resin films, metal foils, substrates.
Three-dimensional parts are possible, too, if they have flat surface partially.
In vacuum transport of these material
marking, laminating, laser or camera inspection are also done.

Fine-Pattern Metal Sleeve for High Functional Film Production Oct. 13, 2017

Sleeve surface is covered with fine patterns.This is the new application to be used for high functional film production.

How can we pattern sleeve surface?

There are two ways.

First, we weld fine-patterned plates and make them one sleeve.
The welding lines are almost as flat as the parent surface.

Second, we make a replica sleeve from the original roll.
The original roll is covered with fine patterns.
It is a hard roll, not elastic at all.
These patterns are made by drilling or laser and is expensive.

By copying the pattern from this hard roll,
we make a thin wall sleeve.
Fine patterns are copied on a thin wall sleeve.
We can make this sleeve repeatedly.

Then customers can use these copied sleeves just like a jacket sleeve.

The original hard roll is not used for pattern transfer on films.
It is kept as a mother roll or a mold to produce copied sleeves.
Then maintenance cost of this expensive mother roll goes down a lot.

This sleeves is no-seam by our original flow forming technology.
You do not find any steps on its surface.

Sep. 28, 2017 Double Steel Belt Press Heating System - Metal Belt Demonstration Conveyor

It is now autumn here in YOKOHAMA.
It is cold in the morning and evening, while it is warm or even hot in the daytime.
I try to keep myself in good conditions not to catch a cold.

Now in Dymco, we receive a number of inquiries on our Double Belt Press Heat System these days.   In this system two stainless steel belts catch work, then heat and press it to change it to a new form.
In these inquiries, work and conditions of pressing and heating vary in each customer.

How can we find solutions for different operating conditions?
Trial is the best.  "Seeing is believing," right?

If you consider our Double Steel Belt Press Heat System, why not doing heat and press tests using your real work?
It is far better than thinking it over on the desk.

One customer came over here with their work and did heating tests in our conveyor.
As a result, we found that it was possible to heat two different kinds of work and stick them together.

Sep. 26, 2017 Tests of stainless steel belt by demonstration machines

It became a season that makes Yokohama feel easy to spend all the time and makes me think that it has approached autumn.

We get many inquiries.

There are many people who are considering steel belts for the first time.
What is the advantage of steel belt? What is difference between steel belt and plastic belts or rubber belts?

We think the reasons as bellow,
· Low dust generation, no fraying
· Good flatness of belt surface
· Excellent in heat resistance, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance
· Good hygiene
· Less growth
· Good thermal conductivity. etc.

Applications include a power transmission unit such as robot arm drive, high precision tact drive unit as a conveyor, continuous conveyor, and recently it has been used as a "Suction conveyor",  "Double belt press conveyor" or "Heating conveyor”.

We have many inquiries as equipment like these.
