Sep. 28, 2017 Double Steel Belt Press Heating System - Metal Belt Demonstration Conveyor

It is now autumn here in YOKOHAMA.
It is cold in the morning and evening, while it is warm or even hot in the daytime.
I try to keep myself in good conditions not to catch a cold.

Now in Dymco, we receive a number of inquiries on our Double Belt Press Heat System these days.   In this system two stainless steel belts catch work, then heat and press it to change it to a new form.
In these inquiries, work and conditions of pressing and heating vary in each customer.

How can we find solutions for different operating conditions?

Sep. 26, 2017 Tests of stainless steel belt by demonstration machines

It became a season that makes Yokohama feel easy to spend all the time and makes me think that it has approached autumn.

We get many inquiries.

There are many people who are considering steel belts for the first time.
What is the advantage of steel belt? What is difference between steel belt and plastic belts or rubber belts?

We think the reasons as bellow,
· Low dust generation, no fraying
· Good flatness of belt surface
· Excellent in heat resistance, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance
· Good hygiene
· Less growth
· Good thermal conductivity. etc.

Applications include a power transmission unit such as robot arm drive, high precision tact drive unit as a conveyor, continuous conveyor, and recently it has been used as a "Suction conveyor",  "Double belt press conveyor" or "Heating conveyor”.

Sep. 7, 2017 Video: Sucion transport of light, soft, and fragile work

We are working on a suction conveyor, becuase it can transport fragile things in stable state.
Here is a video to test transport of a piece of paper.

This air nozzle pushes air on this paper.
When it is not sucked, paper is blown.
Then it is sucked.  It is not shaken and stays on the belts.
Suction transport is fine for thin and light material.
